Paul Robertson has more than 30 years’ experience in all aspects of the media. Until July 2011 he was the award-winning editor of the Evening Chronicle in Newcastle – a position he held for nearly 10 years. He was also the editorial director for Trinity Mirror North East.
Previously, at the age of just 32 Paul became editor of the Evening Gazette in Middlesbrough having served The Journal, Newcastle as chief reporter, Head of Content, Sports Editor and Deputy Editor.
Paul set up Robertson Media in 2011 to provide consultancy, training, public relations and publishing expertise. He is involved in a number of new media initiatives as well as working as editor of Northern Golfer, BQ magazine and acting as editorial consultant on a number of publications.
He joined the board of Skills 4 in 2013, having done some marketing and media work on our behalf, bringing a wealth of knowledge, experience and a male perspective to the team. Paul has also been a trustee for two charities supporting children with disabilities and currently serve on the appeals committee of St Oswald’s Hospice in Gosforth, Newcastle.
