Michelle has had a long and successful career working in the skills and education arena, operating specifically within the advanced manufacturing, engineering and science sectors.
Working for Semta with a successful career spanning almost 30 years, Michelle has managed a wide range of major projects delivering skills and growth for both individuals and employers.
She project managed one of the first successful gender diversity projects in the advanced manufacturing sector partnering with Skills 4 UK and funding following the ‘Shaping a Fairer Future’ report. Supporting companies such as BAE Systems, Airbus, Atkins, Bombardier, Rolls Royce and Aveva.
Michelle also managed Employer Ownership projects in the automotive and aerospace sectors and most recently contract managed the Semta Apprenticeship Service.
Michelle joins the Skills 4 team as their Business Development Director at a key time when diversity and inclusion agenda is coming to the fore and when the Skills 4 programmes are delivering measurable results for both employers and individuals.
