Elizabeth has worked at director level in the engineering, manufacturing and construction sectors for the past 20 years. As Managing Director of 3 Vocational Awarding Bodies she spent 10 years creating opportunities for individuals and businesses in training and qualifications.
She was involved in the creation of the UKs first vocational education system bringing in N/SVQs across the UK, she was the instigator of the Industry Apprentice Council (IAC), the first collective voice for Apprentices. The IAC is now represented on Government and Business Groups.
She is currently an executive coach and trainer for Skills 4, a leading provider of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion training and consultancy supporting businesses and individuals to improve their performance.
In 2018 Elizabeth took over as the first ever woman Director of the Metal sector Trade Association BMPCA, representing her member companies such a Danieli and Siemens across the UK.
Elizabeth is a Freeman of the City of London and an Assistant with the Tin Plate Alias Wire Workers London Livery Company.
